Hawaii State Law Attorney

If you need an attorney in Hawaii who has a successful track record representing clients in this state's courts, then you need Philip R. Brown. Mr. Brown is an experienced litigator and mediator, and he works in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury suits, and civil trial practice. Mr. Brown is one of Hawaii's busiest civil trial attorneys, and he represents some of this state's most well-known citizens and businesses.

Before opening the Law Offices of Philip R. Brown in 1997, Mr. Brown worked for two of the most important law firms in the nation. After graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1985, he began working as a commercial litigator for one of the country's largest law firms, Hunton and Williams. Two years later, Mr. Brown became a litigator at Reid and Priest (now Thelen Reid and Priest), one of New York City's most respected law firms.

In 1993, Mr. Brown left New York to become a Hawaii lawyer at Carlsmith Ball, then the largest law firm in Hawaii. His aggressive representation of his clients so impressed famed Hawaii attorney Dave Schutter that Mr. Schutter hired Mr. Brown to represent 4,000 plaintiffs against Bank of America, which resulted in a $39 million settlement for his clients.

Philip R. Brown is unique, in that he has a wealth of experience in a number of different fields. Mr. Brown has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of high-profile cases. His experience runs the gamut from real estate litigation to personal injury lawsuits to commercial business litigation. And if Phil Brown cannot help you on your case, he or his staff will strive to recommend the right Hawaii attorney for you.
